This year is doomed to an uncommon year as China’s energy structure is experiencing significant adjustments, the natural gas price is going through reform, new Enviroment Protection Law is put into use and a great number of significant reforms of 13th Five-Year Plan are under preparation. Furethremore, the State Government issued new subsidy policy for shale gas development and as unconventional clean energy, shale gas will meet new opportunities and challenges. Although the oil price is dropping, national shale gas development is still booming. The Ministry of Land and Resources and State Development and Reform Commission have approved Sichuan and Chongqing to set up national shale gas development zones. With the building of pipelines for transporting shale gas in Sichuan and Chongqing, the future of shale gas development in these two places will be brighter.

Authoritative experts, academicians and famous technology operating enterprises at home and abroad as well as the front-line responsible persons of shale blocks will be invited to bring the project development experience of shale gas industry in China, especially in Fuling, Changning, Weiyuan, Zhaotong areas, and shale gas field application feedback of key technology and equipment, promote the shale gas diversified investors, to creat opportunities of cooperation, and then promote the healthy development of China's shale gas industry. In addition, Halliburton, Bakerhughes, Schlumberger and Shell etc will bring the latest technology, the exploitation and management experience.
