Jereh, a high tech company from Shandong, released a new treatment solution for oily waste at Karamay Exhibition Center.
The new technology is called "heat, separation, absorption" . By heating oily waste, the oil is "steamed" out of the waste and separated through cooling liquation. The technology is suitable for four kinds of wastes: oil-based mud, oily cuttings, oil mud at the bottom of oil tanks and oil soil.
According to Jereh's technical staff, the new technology allows the recycling rate of oil to reach 90 percent. It is additive free and pollution free, and has been used in Daqing and Sichuan with high effect.
On Nov 24, Jereh began experimental waste treatment in Daqing's oilfield. The total petroleum hydrocarbon content (TPH) of the oilfield fell from 12.2 percent to 0.15 percent. In March, the company was awarded a gold prize for its treatment appliances at the 15th China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology Equipment Exhibition. It was the first time a private company got the highest award of the world's largest petroleum equipment exhibition.
Founded in 1999 in Yantai, Shandong province, Jereh went public in 2010 (SZ002353). It has a net asset of nine billion yuan and 5300 employees. In the past two years, it got many honors. For instance, it was honored in 2013 as the Most Influential Industry Brand in China.
